Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Vecchio Borgo, I was delighted to discover a hidden gem that seamlessly blended comfort, convenience, and culinary innovation. Situated just a stone's throw away from Palermo's bustling Piazza Politeama, this hotel not only offered a tranquil retreat but also provided easy access to the vibrant nightlife that the city is renowned for.One evening, craving a late-night snack, I ventured to Piazza Sant'Anna and was thrilled to find a quaint sandwich shop offering delectable bites paired with a refreshing beer. It perfectly encapsulated the local charm and flavors of Sicily. The next day, exploring the nearby streets lined with small shops filled with colorful ceramics and regional specialties felt like stepping into a treasure trove of local craftsmanship. Indulging in a beautifully crafted aperitif prepared by the talented bartender, I was taken on a journey through the latest trends in mixology. The pet menu, catering to my furry companions with dishes like simply boiled fish or beef tartare, showcased the thoughtful detail the hotel put into every aspect of the guest experience. The restaurant's menu, boasting first-class cuts like Tomahawk and Rib Eye paired with fine Sicilian wines, was a gastronomic delight. I highly recommend this hotel to any traveler looking to immerse themselves in the flavors and culture of Palermo whilst enjoying a top-notch hospitality experience. My dining experiences at the hotel left a lasting impression, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return and savor more of what Vecchio Borgo has to offer.
